Job summary

Tesco PLC is seeking an Assistant Merchandise Planner for Outdoor to support planning and trading for the Seasonal Events category. You will work with the Buying team to develop customer-focused product ranges using data and insight to inform key commercial decisions, and you will be responsible for range building, analysis, and reporting.

The role also covers maintaining systems, supporting pricing within policy, and helping manage the exit of lines while monitoring KPIs and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Report preparation experience.
• Range Building.
• Data analysis and numeracy skills.
• MS Office (esp Excel) skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in departmental range building to deliver sales, stock and profit targets.
• Contribute to strategy and trade meetings with data-driven insights.
• Ensure systems reflect range build for launch per critical path.
• Support the range launch critical path and post-launch reviews.
• Support promotions and events trade plan and budgeting processes.
• Maintain ranging/merchandising systems and trackers.
