Job summary

Tesco (Tesco Stores Limited) is seeking an Assistant Merchandise Planner to support budgets, forecasts, and trading performance across Clothing. You’ll work with regional and channel teams to align plans for strong commercial results.

You will partner with Product Merchandising, Trade Planning, and Finance, driving accurate planning processes and delivering insights to support growth. A merchandising background and strong Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or merchandising planning.
• Diligent and detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Proven ability to communicate clearly and influence decisions.

Responsibilities

• Support the Merchandise Planning Manager with country budgets and forecasts.
• Assist with WSSI forecast reviews and in-depth analysis.
• Provide weekly trade commentary for leadership.
• Identify risks and opportunities in weekly trade by country and channel.
• Produce insights for country, divisional and attribute reviews.
• Support trade plan reviews and enable top-down and bottom-up reviews.
• Manage clothing country daily sales forecasts with commentary.
