Job summary

Ormiston Forge Academy is seeking an enthusiastic Educational Visits & Duke of Edinburgh Support Officer to coordinate expeditions and outdoor activities with a focus on safety and quality.

You will work closely with the Programme Manager and staff to ensure visits are well-planned, documented, and delivered to high standards, while supporting students beyond the classroom with enriching experiences.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English at A*-C or equivalent
• Lowland Leader qualification or willingness to work towards
• Full UK driving licence and ability to drive the Academy minibus
• First Aid training will be provided if required

Responsibilities

• Support organisation of expeditions and visits
• Assist with route planning and logistics
• Maintain equipment and records
• Liaise with staff, parents and external providers
• Accompany students on educational and outdoor activities where appropriate
