Job summary

Kids Planet Cobham is seeking an Outdoor Lead to inspire curiosity and support children’s development outdoors and indoors in line with the EYFS.

Qualifications

• Level 3 childcare qualification and safeguarding training.
• Strong understanding of EYFS framework.
• Experience leading a small team is preferred.
• Excellent communication with families and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional care and education outdoors in line with EYFS.
• Collaborate with staff to create a safe, stimulating outdoor space.
• Build warm relationships with families through open communication.

How you'll make a difference as an Outdoor Lead:

• By providing exceptional care and education in line with the EYFS, supporting each child's individual needs both indoors and outdoors.
• Through working collaboratively with your team to create a safe, playful, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• By building warm, trusting relationships with families through open, supportive communication, involving them in their child's development and outdoor experiences.

Requirements of an Outdoor Lead:

• A Passion for the Outdoors!!
• Must be at least Level 3 qualified.
• Excellent understanding of EYFS.
• Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.
• Leadership experience desirable.
