Adur & Worthing Councils is recruiting a Kerbside Loader Operative to work in Worthing, West Sussex. The role involves loading as part of a three-person crew and ensuring a high-quality kerbside service for households and local businesses.

The job is full-time, permanent, 37 hours per week, with an early finish and an outdoor, physical workload. Prior experience in waste management and an NVQ2 in waste operations are desirable.

Qualifications

• Physically capable of walking up to 12 miles a day.
• Knowledge of the local area is essential.

Responsabilités

• Load within a team of 3 Loader Operatives to ensure a quality kerbside service.
• Collect Recycling/refuse/Green Waste from households and local businesses.
• Work across cleansing/refuse/recycling/garden/trade/Food Waste teams as needed.
