Job summary

Siamo Recruitment a division of Siamo Group is seeking a Temporary Support Worker to provide practical and emotional support to vulnerable adults in an outdoor, farm environment. The role starts immediately and is temporary, offering hands-on experience in a unique setting.

You will help service users participate in daily activities, promote independence, stay vigilant for safety, and work as part of a small team outdoors, whatever the weather.

Qualifications

• Valid Adult DBS Check/Enhanced DBS Check available for immediate verification.
• Previous experience supporting vulnerable adults in care, community, or support setting.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions; footwear and outdoor clothing provided.
• Ability to follow instructions, work as part of a team, and communicate clearly with colleagues and service users.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to an immediate start on a temporary basis.

Responsibilities

• Support vulnerable adults in day-to-day farm-based activities, encouraging participation and independence.
• Supervise and assist service users during outdoor tasks, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Monitor and report concerns regarding service users' wellbeing to the appropriate staff.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organised outdoor working environment.
• Contribute to a positive, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere on the farm.
