Ormiston Forge Academy invites applications for an Educational Visits & Duke of Edinburgh Support Officer. You will provide practical, administrative and operational support for educational visits, trips and DofE activities, coordinating logistics and safeguarding throughout.

You will work closely with the Programme Manager and academy staff to ensure visits run safely and to high standards. The role requires a passion for working with young people, strong organisational skills and the ability

Qualifications

• GCSE A*-C in Maths and English or equivalent.
• Lowland Leader qualification or willingness to work toward it.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to drive the academy minibus.
• First Aid training will be provided if required.
• Experience with outdoor, walking or expedition-based activities.
• Strong organisational skills and logistics coordination.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.

Responsabilités

• Support organisation of expeditions and visits.
• Assist with route planning and logistics.
• Maintain equipment and records for visits and trips.
• Liaise with staff, parents and external providers.
• Accompany students on educational and outdoor activities where appropriate.
