Somerset Council invites applications for a role at Kilve Court Outdoor Centre. The role focuses on delivering high-quality outdoor learning experiences, coordinating activities, managing bookings and leading exciting outdoor adventures.

You’ll work closely with the Centre Manager to ensure a welcoming and memorable stay for every visitor. You will promote Kilve Court, support safeguarding and health and safety, and help create an inclusive environment where children, young people and visitors

Qualifikationen

• Experience delivering customer service with schools, parents and visitors.
• Knowledge of health and safety, safeguarding and risk assessment in outdoor/residential settings.
• Experience planning and delivering activities or events.
• Experience supporting day-to-day operation of a service, facility or team.

Aufgaben

• Help create outdoor learning experiences for children and young people.
• Lead and coordinate programmes and residential stays.
• Build relationships with schools, parents, group leaders and visitors.
• Deputise for the Centre Manager to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Champion customer service and exceed expectations.
• Promote Kilve Court to grow bookings and opportunities for outdoor learning.
• Support safeguarding, health and safety and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve the service and inclusivity.
