Job summary

Suppleo Education is partnering with a fantastic school in Congleton to recruit an Outdoor Activity Instructor. Role involves supporting pupils with complex needs in 1:1 or small group settings, with FREE Teaching Assistant training provided. Opportunity for permanent work may arise after the probation period.

Working hours are 8:30am to 3:30pm in a full-time capacity, with a start date ASAP. UK right to work and two references required; Enhanced DBS check available via Suppleo Education.

Qualifications

• Outdoor Activity Instructor role supporting pupils with complex needs.
• Free Teaching Assistant training provided.
• DBS check required (Enhanced).
• Right to work in UK and two references required.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils 1:1 or in small groups during activities.
• Work with staff to inspire and motivate pupils.
• Provide coverage during school hours (8:30am–3:30pm).

Job description

Suppleo Education are proud to be working in partnership with a fantastic school who have an amazing opportunity for someone with the skillset of an Outdoor Activity Instructor to work in a school setting. The successful individual will be given FREE full Teaching Assistant training. The individual will be needed to support pupils with a variety of complex needs including SLD, SEMH and EBD, in 1:1 or small group capacities.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside a range of talented support staff on a journey to inspire and motivate the younger generation. The successful individual may have the opportunity of the role being made permanent if successful during the period required.
