Job summary

Igloo Ltd is seeking an experienced QC / Outbound Vehicle Inspector for a busy Upper Heyford fleet operation in Oxfordshire. You will perform pre-despatch quality control inspections, cosmetic checks, GDPR data removal, PDC checks, paperwork verification and minor mechanical checks.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently or in a team, and a full UK driving licence. We offer weekly pay, a company pension, onsite parking and ongoing work with a leading automotive

Qualifications

• Previous vehicle inspection experience is essential.
• Experience carrying out quality control or outbound vehicle inspections is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and a thorough approach to inspections.
• Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out quality control inspections on vehicles prior to despatch.
• Completing cosmetic checks to identify any damage, defects or presentation issues.
• Carrying out GDPR checks within vehicles and ensuring relevant information is removed or addressed.
• Completing PDC checks, including checking vehicle levels and general condition.
• Checking vehicle paperwork to ensure it is complete and accurate before despatch.
• Carrying out minor mechanical checks where required.
• Identifying and reporting any issues that need to be addressed before vehicles are released to customers.
• Ensuring vehicles meet the required quality and presentation standards before despatch.
