Job summary

IVC Evidensia Glasgow is seeking a weekend veterinary nurse to join our out-of-hours team. You will deliver high-standard inpatient care for referral and emergency patients, working with specialist and AP vets in a supportive, multi-disciplinary environment.

The role operates on a 5 nights on, 5 nights off rota with shifts from 16:00–04:00 or 20:00–08:00, offering generous CPD support, membership of wellbeing programmes, and extensive staff benefits in a hospital setting.

• Work as part of the out of hours team during weekend rota.

Job description

Our Glasgow hospital offers emergency and critical care, orthopaedic, soft tissue, internal medicine and referrals, and we’re looking to add to our existing team with a weekend veterinary nurse. You will be part of our out of hours team and will be required to provide high-standard inpatient care for referral patients as well as incoming emergencies and critical care patients. This is an opportunity to work with Specialist and AP vets in a multi-discipline and supportive environment.

This role will be supporting our busy out of hours service:

Working on 5 nights on, 5 nights off rota, shift times 16:00 to 04:00 or 20:00 to 08:00
