Job summary

Vets Now Hospital Glasgow is looking for a weekend veterinary nurse to join our busy out-of-hours team. You will provide high-standard inpatient care for referral patients, as well as incoming emergencies and critical care cases, alongside a supportive multidisciplinary team.

This role offers a 5 nights on, 5 nights off rota with shifts 16:00–04:00 or 20:00–08:00, plus extensive CPD support, generous benefits, and a focus on wellbeing and professional development.

Job description

Our Glasgow hospital offers emergency and critical care, orthopaedic, soft tissue, internal medicine and referrals, and we’re looking to add to our existing team with a weekend veterinary nurse. You will be part of our out of hours team and will be required to provide high-standard inpatient care for referral patients as well as incoming emergencies and critical care patients. This is an opportunity to work with Specialist and AP vets in a multi-discipline and supportive environment.

Working pattern

This role will be supporting our busy out of hours service: Working on 5 nights on, 5 nights off rota, shift times 16:00 to 04:00 or 20:00 to 08:00
