Job summary

SSE plc’s IT division is looking for an OT Security Engineer to strengthen cyber security across our Operational Technology. You’ll assess risks, design secure OT architectures, and work with project teams to meet security requirements.

The role requires SC level vetting and 5 years UK residency, with base locations in Perth, Glasgow, Reading or Havant. You will spend 50% of time in these locations and enjoy a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Requires vetting to SC level with 5 years UK residency.
• GICSP certification or equivalent security credential.
• Strong understanding of OT networks and vulnerability management.

Responsibilities

• Assess and improve cyber security within Operational Technology.
• Ensure designs and architectures meet security requirements for OT.
• Manage real-time cyber security incidents and assess attack vectors.
• Collaborate with IT, OT, and project teams to mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Represent OT security in discussions with SSE Distribution and SSE Group IT.
