SSE plc’s IT division is looking for an OT Security Engineer to strengthen cyber security across our Operational Technology. You’ll assess risks, design secure OT architectures, and work with project teams to meet security requirements.
The role requires SC level vetting and 5 years UK residency, with base locations in Perth, Glasgow, Reading or Havant. You will spend 50% of time in these locations and enjoy a comprehensive benefits package.

Salary: £51,600 - £77,400 + performance-related bonus and a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

We are currently recruiting for OT Security Engineers to join our Distribution OT team.
As OT Security Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the assessment and improvement of cyber security within the Operational Technology of SSEN. You will also work with Future Networks and project teams within Operational Technology to ensure that designs and architecture meets security requirements.
Critically, the role includes the real time management of cyber security incidents, assessing attack vectors and our associated vulnerabilities in order to protect our Operational Technology systems.
