Job summary

Infosec in the United Kingdom is seeking an OT Cybersecurity Engineer to join its team, focusing on the secure development and implementation of cybersecurity policies, processes, and controls for Operational Technologies (OT). You will support threat and risk assessments, provide secure design guidance, and ensure firmware and hardware security across OT metering and embedded systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in cybersecurity with exposure to OT, ICs, or SCADA environments.
• Familiarity with ISA/IEC 62443 framework and OT security principles.
• Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support threat and risk assessments for client OT products and services.
• Conduct OT risk assessments for components within solutions.
• Provide secure design and architecture support following Purdue Levels 0–3.
• Contribute to security baselines, code-signing, and secure boot for OT metering and embedded systems.
• Analyse firmware vulnerabilities using appropriate tools without disrupting operations.
• Support security testing throughout the project lifecycle and factory acceptance tests.
• Integrate OT asset visibility and threat detection platforms.
• Maintain compliance with ISA/IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82, and other energy-sector frameworks.
• Provide procedural and technical cybersecurity guidance to designers, engineers, testers.
• Monitor cybersecurity targets and suggest improvements proactively.
