Job summary

Exalto Consulting is seeking an experienced OT Security Engineer to join a major cybersecurity improvement programme in the energy and critical infrastructure sector. The role focuses on strengthening control system security across industrial environments and coordinating remediation activities.

The successful candidate will lead assessments, develop remediation plans, improve OT network security and IAM across assets, and work with engineering, operations, IT and cybersecurity teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in OT/ICS cybersecurity.
• Proven OT assessments, risk remediation and security improvements.
• Knowledge of SCADA, PLCs, DCS.
• Experience with OT network security and segmentation.
• Coordination across engineering, ops, IT and cybersecurity teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead OT cybersecurity assessments and remediation initiatives.
• Develop and maintain remediation plans, risk registers and dashboards.
• Review and improve OT network security, segmentation and ICS architecture.
• Support asset management, vulnerability management, patching and system hardening.
• Strengthen identity and privileged access management across industrial environments.
• Improve security monitoring, incident response, backup and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Coordinate remediation activities with engineering teams and suppliers.
• Document, test and provide assurance evidence for security improvements.
• Produce security risk reports and management dashboards.
