Job summary

Landon School in West London is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. You will support pupils with autism and severe learning difficulties to develop sensory, motor and functional skills, enabling access to meaningful learning both in school and the wider community.

You will conduct evidence-based assessments, create tailored programmes, contribute to EHCPs, and provide training for staff and families.

Qualifications

• Qualified Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration and relevant experience.
• Experience supporting children with autism and learning difficulties in education or healthcare settings.
• Strong understanding of sensory processing and functional skills development.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of children with autism and severe learning difficulties in school.
• Deliver evidence-based OT assessments, programmes and interventions in the school setting.
• Collaborate with teachers and therapy colleagues to co-produce sensory diets and life-skills plans.
• Contribute to EHCPs with clear reporting and outcome setting.
• Provide training and support for staff and families to extend therapeutic gains.
