Job summary

North London NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting an advanced Occupational Therapist to lead the OT service at a further education college for people with autism spectrum conditions and/or profound and multiple learning disabilities. You will assess impact on occupational performance using AMPs, MOHOST, Sensory Profile and set achievable goals.

You will develop the OT contribution in collaboration with the Health Coordinator of Alexandra Centre, work autonomously, and provide OT in homes,

Responsibilities

• Lead the Occupational Therapy service for a further education college for people with autistic spectrum conditions and/or profound learning disabilities.
• Assess impact of learning disabilities on occupational performance using standardised tools (e.g., AMPs, MOHOST, Sensory Profile) and set treatment goals.
• Develop the OT contribution in collaboration with the Health Coordinator of Alexandra Centre and work autonomously.
• Plan and implement Occupational Therapy and multi-disciplinary group work in various settings (homes, college, community).
• Work within a multi-agency context to share information, conduct joint assessments and care planning.
