Job summary

Anglian Water Group is seeking an OT Field Engineer to maintain, repair and commission OT hardware and systems across Norwich and surrounding areas. You will support real-time monitoring and control of water treatment and distribution assets, ensuring regulatory compliance and availability.

The role emphasizes PLC/HMI programming, telemetry, and network administration, with a focus on safe operations and efficient maintenance coverage. A strong electronics/controls background is essential.

Qualifications

• Educated to HNC/HND or ONC/HND level (or equivalent) in Electrical/Instrumentation.
• Experience or formal training in PLC/Process control fault-finding is advantageous.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across integrated hardware/software systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics, repair and replacement of OT field hardware including telemetry outstations, I/O modules, power supplies, PLCs and HMIs.
• Modify process automation to support compliance and continuity.
• Preventive maintenance on OT hardware and networks.
