Job summary

Copello is seeking two OT Project Engineers to support a major water framework. You will work with SCADA systems, OT networks, and virtualized environments across multiple UK sites.

Key requirements include Siemens WinCC, Simatic Net, VMware ESXi, Veeam backups, Windows environments and Active Directory, plus electrical authorisation. Travel to UU operational sites across Cheshire, Merseyside, Lancashire, Cumbria and Greater Manchester is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with SCADA systems and OT networks.
• Experience with Siemens WinCC and Simatic Net is essential.
• Ability to operate across multiple sites in the UK.

Job description

New requirement for 2 OT Project Engineers to support a major water framework.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience supporting SCADA systems, including hardware and software platforms like Siemens WinCC and Simatic Net
• Strong knowledge of OT networks, including routing, VLANs, and IP addressing
• Experience working with virtualized environments (VMWare ESXi and vCentre) and managing VM backups with Veeam
• Proficiency in configuring Windows environments, Microsoft technologies, and Active Directory
• Electrical authorisation (mandatory)
• Full UK driving licence

Nice to Have Skills:

• Knowledge of PLC infrastructure and troubleshooting
• Experience supporting lifecycle management of SCADA systems
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and environments

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Relevant technical qualifications in OT/Industrial Engineering
• Prior experience in infrastructure upgrade projects or operational support
• Experience working across multiple regional sites is advantageous

Other Requirements:

• Immediate availability preferred, with flexibility to start within 3-4 weeks
• Willingness to travel to various UU operational sites across Cheshire, Merseyside, Lancashire, Cumbria, and Greater Manchester
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic setting
