Job summary
Anglian Water Services is seeking an OT Field Engineer to maintain, repair and commission OT hardware, systems and networks across the Norwich region. You will support real-time monitoring and control of our water treatment and distribution assets, ensuring reliability and compliance.
The role is field-based, 37 hours per week with flexible part-time options, and includes a comprehensive benefits package and a company vehicle.
Qualifications
- Ideally educated to HNC/HND level or equivalent with trade/technical background.
- Experience with maintenance, commissioning or field service of electrical/instrumentation systems is desirable.
- Familiarity with telemetry, PLC/HMI hardware and software is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Diagnostics, repair and replacement of OT field hardware including telemetry outstations and I/O modules, power supplies, PLCs and HMIs.
- Undertake modifications to process automation and control systems to support compliance and continuity.
- Perform preventive maintenance on OT hardware and networks.
- Upgrade firmware/software on OT equipment to maintain security and compliance.
- Provide on-site support to OT partners for integration of new or modified OT hardware and software.
- Conduct post-installation QA audits of OT installations to ensure standards.
