Job summary

SSE plc is seeking an experienced Transmission Cyber Security professional based in Scotland with 50% site work in Glasgow, Perth, Aberdeen or Inverness. The role involves secure design, delivery and operation of OT systems across substations, networks and SCADA projects, with occasional visits elsewhere in Scotland.

• Qualifications or certifications in cyber security, OT, networking or related field.
• Experience in OT/industrial control or critical infrastructure environments.
• Knowledge of cyber risk, security governance and standards.

Responsibilities

• Support cyber risk management and design/implement security controls.
• Support security assurance, testing and commissioning before go-live.
• Develop and improve security standards and documentation.
• Maintain security monitoring, auditing and network security tools.
• Act as trusted OT security adviser across SSE teams.
