Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a senior professional to lead OT cybersecurity and enterprise data initiatives in the energy and utilities sector. You will shape cloud-native data platforms, oversee migration strategies, and manage vendors and governance across multi-substation environments.

The role combines security, data architecture, and programme delivery with exposure to senior stakeholders and critical national infrastructure. Hybrid/onsite work may apply.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering technical, data or cybersecurity programmes within energy, utilities or critical infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of OT cybersecurity, network resilience, substations or related environments.
• Strong data architecture across Azure data platforms and cloud data migration.
• Proven vendor, procurement and technical delivery management skills.
• Governance, risk, and senior stakeholder engagement capability.
• Familiar with Agile SCRUM, PRINCE2 and Waterfall frameworks.
• Hands-on with SQL, Oracle, .NET, Python, APIs and test automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead OT cybersecurity and technical delivery across substations and OT environments.
• Ensure security, resilience, and operational continuity in delivery activities.
• Define and deliver cloud-native data platforms and migration roadmaps using Azure.
• Manage vendor engagements, procurement, and technical artefacts throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Maintain governance mechanisms across risk, issue and change management.
