Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an OT Cybersecurity Consultant to support Critical National Infrastructure clients across Energy, Water, Rail, and Defence. You'll join a team working at the intersection of engineering, OT and cyber, helping protect ICS environments and secure operations.

You will assess, design and implement cybersecurity controls across OT estates, collaborating with engineering and security teams, and contributing to secure OT architectures and monitoring initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in OT cybersecurity within Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) or industrial environments.
• Familiarity with OT/ICS technologies such as SCADA, DCS, PLCs, RTUs, industrial networking, and safety systems.
• Hands-on security engineering across IT and OT networks (endpoints, firewalls, IDS).
• Familiarity with IEC 62443, NIST CSF, ISO 27000, MITRE ATT&CK, and NIS/NIS2.

Responsibilities

• Support assessment, design and implementation of cybersecurity controls within OT/IC environments.
• Collaborate with engineers and ops teams to understand architectures, requirements and risks.
• Review OT networks and ICS to identify security improvements and resilience gaps.
• Contribute to secure OT architectures including network segmentation, remote access and monitoring.
• Support security assessments, technical reviews and security improvement initiatives across CNI sectors.
• Produce clear technical documentation, recommendations and client deliverables.
• Identify and mitigate cyber risks across OT environments.
• Assist integration of security controls across IT and OT networks.
• Engage stakeholders to improve operational resilience and cyber maturity.
