Job summary

Centrica plc is seeking an OT Analyst/Technician to safeguard industrial control systems and OT networks. You will work closely with engineers, cybersecurity specialists and partners to monitor OT environments, respond to incidents and maintain asset and patch records.

The role emphasizes data-driven improvements, risk management, and adherence to Centrica security standards. Location is UK-based with hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Experience hands-on with Operational Technology and industrial control systems in energy/industrial environments.
• Knowledge of automation, controls, OT networks, protocols and security controls.
• Experience supporting OT cybersecurity activities: incident response, monitoring, patches, backups, secure remote access.
• Familiarity with OT security frameworks/regulations (IEC 62443, NIS, ISO 27001).
• Ability to collaborate with engineers, vendors and cybersecurity teams to keep OT operations secure.

Responsibilities

• Day to day OT cybersecurity incident response, including investigation, evidence gathering, containment, remediation.
• Operate and monitor OT cybersecurity controls across Centrica Power sites, health checks and config validation.
• Contribute to OT risk, compliance, and audit activities, including risk reviews and regulatory evidence.
