Job summary

Centrica is seeking an OT Analyst/Technician to safeguard our Operational Technology environments across power sites. The role involves hands-on security monitoring, incident response, asset management, and close collaboration with engineers and external partners to keep critical OT systems secure and compliant.

Based in the UK with a hybrid work setup, you will contribute to risk, compliance, and continuous improvement of OT controls, ensuring resilience and secure connectivity across Centrica

Qualifications

• Hands-on OT experience in energy/industrial environments.
• Knowledge of OT networks, protocols, and security controls.
• Experience with incident response, monitoring, patching, backups and secure remote access.
• Familiar with IEC 62443, NIS, ISO 27001 security frameworks.
• Able to work with engineers, vendors and cybersecurity teams.

Responsibilities

• Support OT cybersecurity incident response and containment.
• Monitor OT controls and perform health checks.
• Support risk, compliance and audit activities.
• Maintain OT asset, patch, backup and recovery records.
• Assist with tooling improvements and security awareness.
