Job description
Overview

Our telemetry system is one of the largest in the utilities sector, providing 24/7 365 monitoring and control to 1000s of our operational sites across the Anglian Water region. Our team provides real time telemetry configuration and support services to internal, operational and further OT teams. Your desirable expertise in ClearSCADA and RTU configuration will ensure assets are set‑up to measure asset performance to a safe and consistent standard. You will be responsible for the delivery of configuration work to pre‑approved designs, with any deviations escalated to the Senior Engineer. Our OT Department is undergoing role and structural change and it's likely this will offer more learning and development opportunities and job variety for a successful candidate in the coming months.

Responsibilities
  • Delivery of telemetry configuration services for capital partners.
  • Utilise the sequence and process control software library using systems as required and updating users accordingly.
  • Cross reference training and knowledge of the AMF (Asset Monitoring Frameworks) and other telemetry standards against current asset configuration.
  • Ensure telemetry installations are implemented to defined standards (e.g. AMF) owning remedial action where appropriate.
  • Comply with Quality Assurance procedures and work instructions within own section and work with others to improve overall quality.
  • Comply with rigorous change control mechanisms.
Benefits
  • 25 days leave, rising with service + Bank Holidays, with the option to swap Christmas and Easter holidays for those celebrated by your religion.
  • A flexible and friendly working culture.
  • Competitive pension scheme – we double‑match your contributions up to 6 %.
  • Life Assurance at eight times your salary.
  • Personal Accident cover – up to 5× your salary.
  • Bonus Scheme.
  • Lots of great discounts.
  • Flexible benefits to support your wellbeing and lifestyle.
  • Paid time off when you’re physically and mentally unwell.
  • An excellent Family Leave package – to help you support your family.
Additional Information

We are looking for proactive, self‑motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our Telemetry Configuration team on a permanent basis. This is a “learn‑as‑you‑go” opportunity, as we work within a niche industry with systems that have been constructed to meet the specific needs of a large and demanding water network and everything in‑between. You will be keen to learn, with an appetite to absorb information efficiently and effectively, under the mentorship of our Senior Engineers and technical experts. You will bring a dynamic and forward‑thinking approach with first‑class interpersonal, analytical and communication skills, which will enable you to swiftly become an asset to our team, as well as the Anglian Water Business.
