Job summary

Quest Waste Management is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for the Ossett office. This role is largely office-based with occasional travel to sites to support delivery, audits and business requirements.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, drive performance, ensure safe and efficient service, and report KPI data to inform decisions. Strong leadership, planning, and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Operations / Supervisory roles within waste/industrial or related services.
• Strong Health & Safety understanding and compliance in operations.
• Excellent IT skills with Excel and reporting proficiency.
• Ability to schedule work and manage resources to maximise productivity.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operational delivery safely and on time.
• Ensure teams have information, equipment and resources to complete tasks.
• Plan workloads and oversee capacity and staff utilisation.
• Lead KPI reporting and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Standardise processes and support digitalisation where applicable.
