Job summary

Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Sutton in Ashfield invites applications for an Orthotic Technician to join our established orthotics team. You will contribute to the manufacture, modification, servicing and repair of bespoke orthotic devices, working within a dedicated workshop that supports patient care across the trust.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a technical/engineering discipline.
• Experience in orthotic or prosthetic manufacturing preferred.
• Attention to detail and quality standards essential.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture, modification, servicing and repair of custom orthotic devices.
• Work within a team to maintain high quality manufacturing output.
• Apply CAD/CAM techniques and thermoplastic fabrication as needed.
