Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking an enthusiastic orthoptist to join the ophthalmology service at Queen's Hospital and/or Barking Community. The role focuses on assessment, diagnosis and treatment for paediatric and neuro-ophthalmology patients within a busy MDT.

The post offers opportunities to contribute to perimetry and imaging (OCT) and to participate in teaching within a validated orthoptics teaching centre.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified orthoptist with ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience in paediatric and neuro-ophthalmology settings is desirable.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills expected.

Aufgaben

• Provide high-quality orthoptic assessment, diagnosis and treatment.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team including perimetry, OCT and related services.
• Participate in teaching and training within the department.
