Job summary

South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust and George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust are recruiting an Orthoptist to join our friendly team delivering orthoptic services across Warwickshire. You will be supported by the team to deliver high quality orthoptic services and will include a varied orthoptic caseload.

The Orthoptic team supports adult motility services for the whole of Coventry and Warwickshire including assisting with Botox and adjustable sutures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level degree in Orthoptics and HCPC registration.
• Continued Professional Development evidence.
• Experience in autonomous practice and working within Orthoptic teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage Orthoptic patients within an autonomous role.
• Contribute to adult motility and paediatric clinics.
• Support stroke and vision screening initiatives and CPD across the service.
