Job description

We are looking for an Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner to work with a Theatre team in a Private Hospital based in Central London. The role offers a generous salary of up to £45,000 and many excellent benefits. This is a full-time position with a flexible shift pattern.

In your first few weeks in this Scrub Practitioner role, you can expect to:

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to promote a patient-centred approach to care.
  • Perform scrub duties according to policies and procedures, ensuring quality control and evidence-based practice.
  • Complete all tasks professionally, including mandatory surgical examinations before, during, and after wound closure.
  • Organise, control, prepare, and manage surgical instruments and medications for various procedures.

To apply for this role, you must be a Registered General Nurse with valid NMC registration or an ODP with an active HCPC pin. Additionally, you will need:

  • Orthopaedic Scrub Experience
  • A proven track record working within an operating theatre with relevant scrub procedures
  • General scrub and circulating skills across a range of patient cases
