Job summary

Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust seeks an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join the Orthopaedic ACP Team. The role emphasizes autonomy in clinical decision making within orthopaedic pathways, including trauma, elective activity, on-call and ward duties.

You will work with a driven team to develop skills and support succession planning, with strong emphasis on leadership, supervision, and education of colleagues.

Qualifications

• Master’s qualification with evidence of working at an advanced level.
• Speciality specific competencies for the Orthopaedic ACP role.
• Ability to work independently within four pillars of advanced practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide autonomous clinical decision making within orthopaedic pathways.
• Lead, develop and supervise other staff within the ACP team.
• Contribute to education, audit and research in line with practice standards.
• Support trauma, elective activity, on-call and ward duties as required.
