Job summary

The Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) is seeking an Organisational Business Support Administrator to join the Organisational Business Support team. You will provide administrative support to a diverse range of clients, work with corporate databases, and use Microsoft packages to analyse data and improve processes.

This is a permanent hybrid role based at Swinton with 36.25 hours per week (3 days in the office, 2 days working from home). Salary ranges from £27,709 to £30,515 per annum.

Qualifications

  • Experience in administration or reception and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programmes – Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage demanding workloads.

Organisational Business Support Administrator

Salary: £27,709 - £30,515 per annum

Hours: 36.25

Contract: Permanent (3 days office based, 2 days working from home)

Location: Fire Service Headquarters (FSHQ), Swinton. Please note that GMFRS is planning to relocate its headquarters to Cassidy Close, Manchester, with a phased transition expected between January and March 2027. The successful candidate will be required to work from the new location following the move.
