Daylesford Organic is seeking a skilled chef for The Old Spot, focused on seasonal, organic dishes crafted from the finest farm-fresh ingredients. The role involves supporting deli, restaurant and event service, with an emphasis on kitchen collaboration and menu development.

The position requires excellent knife skills, HACCP compliance, and the ability to maintain high presentation and taste standards across multiple environments, including private events and market gardens.

Formación

• Seasonal, organic cooking with fresh produce.
• Excellent knife skills and range of techniques.
• High standards for plating, taste and presentation.
• Knowledge of food safety and HACCP compliance.
• Experience with deli prep and delivery service is a plus.
• Adaptability across farmshop, restaurant and events.
• Clear communication to ensure smooth service across departments.
• Calm under pressure during busy service or events.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes using fresh, organic ingredients.
• Support food production for deli counters, restaurant, and delivery service.
• Assist with bespoke menus and service for private events at Heritage House and in Market Garden.
• Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and food safety.
• Collaborate with kitchen and farm shop teams for smooth operations.
• Contribute to menu development and seasonal specials.
• Ensure mise en place is ready for the next day.
• Share knowledge and passion for food with junior staff.
• Ensure section is set for the next day with fresh mise en place.
