Job summary

Omnia Resourcing is recruiting Order Pickers for a Sherburn in Elmet site. The role involves manual picking from heights up to 14 metres using HLOP trucks, with full training provided. A temporary-to-permanent opportunity offers long-term potential and weekly pay.

Candidates should be physically fit, able to work in narrow aisles, and comfortable with height and rope escape equipment. Prior warehouse experience is preferred, and own transport is desirable due to location.

Qualifications

• No licence required – full training provided.
• Must be comfortable working at height and using rope escape equipment in emergencies.
• Flexible to a 5 out of 6 shift pattern (Sunday off, every other Saturday on).
• HLOP experience highly desirable; VNA experience also considered.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders accurately from heights up to 14 metres.
• Work in very narrow aisles (VNA environment) while standing.
• Perform general warehouse duties and keep area clean and safe.
• Follow site safety procedures and participate in induction training.
• Support team operations and ensure efficient workflow.

£13.75 p/h – AM Shift (06:00 – 14:00)
£14.75 p/h – PM Shift (14:00 – 22:00)

We are currently recruiting motivated and reliable Order Pickers to join the warehouse team. This is a manual, fast-paced role involving order picking at heights of up to 14 meters using HLOP trucks (High Level Order Pickers).

Key Responsibilities

• Pick orders accurately while operating at heights of up to 14 meters
• Work from a standing position in very narrow aisles (VNA environment)
• Perform general manual handling and warehouse duties
• Follow all site safety procedures including rope escape awareness (covered at induction)
• Support team operations and maintain a clean and organised work area

Requirements

• No licence required – full training is provided
• Previous warehouse experience preferred

• Physically fit and able to work in a standing, manual role
