Drive retailer success with De’Longhi Group.
The De’Longhi Group Customer Order team acts as a conduit between our retail partners and a number of internal functions including sales and logistics. We’re a critically-important team that processes orders, scrutinises stock levels and provides customer service to stores.
We’re now seeking a highly-motivated individual to join this team for a 12-month maternity cover contract. You’ll need to find your feet and add value to the department quickly, but you’ll be ably supported by a nurturing and friendly team.
The successful applicant for this role will manage and process orders for a defined set of accounts ensuring that pricing is correct, checking stock against bookings and advising account managers if stocks are low.
As a valued partner to the sales team, you will help to improve processes and working practices for the benefit of our customers, streamlining deliveries and order fulfilment. You’ll have regular meetings with our Sales and National Account Manager teams and will coordinate with a variety of stakeholders to ensure our operations run smoothly.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to develop a good knowledge of the status of your accounts and fit in well with our close-knit team, helping to enhance our already-excellent reputation among internal and external clients. This is a fulfilling role in a fun, hard-working team where long tenure at the organisation is the norm.
Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
Ideally, you’ll have a background in order management and will be competent using SAP and Excel: as part of the wider supply chain team, you’ll spend a lot of time working with data so you must be accurate using data and comfortable in a data-rich environment.
However, your personality and attitude are even more important in this role. You must be a great fit and an ambassador for this important team, so you’ll be a natural and confident collaborator with excellent communication skills. You’ll work closely with customers and stakeholders across the wider De’Longhi Group, so you’ll be confident coming forward with questions or issues.
You’ll be a clear, organised thinker whose systematic and fearless approach to problem-solving will enable you to assess your accounts and the actions you need to take to resolve any issues. You’ll need an inquisitive and proactive nature and a strong desire to learn.
You’ll have a significant impact on our success, and direct access to some exciting accounts. Although you’ll need to get up to speed quickly, you’ll be surrounded by a nurturing team who will be keen to support you. Our work environment and investment into staff is outstanding, and our extensive benefits include:
