Job description

Job Title: Oracle Project Administrator

Location: Remote (Candidate can be based anywhere in Europe)

Employment Type: Contract (6 months + extension)

Day Rate:€300 - €400 per day

Job Summary:

The Oracle Project Administrator is responsible for supporting the execution of Oracle projects by ensuring efficient coordination, communication, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. This role involves administering Oracle applications, managing project schedules, tracking deliverables, and providing key administrative support to the project team.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination

  • Assist in the planning, scheduling, and monitoring of Oracle project activities.
  • Coordinate project meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and minute-taking.
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools and report on progress.

Oracle Application Support

  • Manage Oracle project modules and ensure accurate data entry and system updates.
  • Assist in the configuration and administration of Oracle applications as needed.
  • Support the project team in troubleshooting Oracle-related issues.

Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain and organize project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and other relevant materials.
  • Prepare and distribute regular project status reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure that all project documentation is up to date and accessible.

Communication

  • Serve as a liaison between project teams, stakeholders, and other departments.
  • Facilitate effective communication within the project team and with external stakeholders.
  • Handle project-related inquiries and escalate issues as needed.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project administration, preferably in IT or Oracle-related projects.
  • Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Cloud, or other Oracle applications is highly desirable.

Skills:

  • MS Project (well versed)
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Not mandatory: Experience using Oracle applications and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Primavera).
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
