Job Tittle: Senior Project Manager – Commodities/Trading/ ETRM

Contract Length: 12 Months (possibility for extension)

Location: London (3 days a week onsite)

Daily Rate: Circa £800/Day

Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 9 am - 5 pm with out of hours requirement (as working with global team)

Are you a seasoned Project Manager with a flair for transforming complex business needs into effective IT solutions? Our client, a leading player in the commodities trading sector, is on the lookout for a dynamic Senior Project Manager to join their innovative commodity technology team!

Who You Are:

• Experienced in front-office trading environments, particularly within commodities
• Experienced in Commodities, ETRM, Trading and Risk Management is essential.
• Responsible for multiple projects for delivery.
• Manage existing projects using agile methodology (preside over daily scrums etc)
• A team player with a proven ability to achieve results through shared initiatives.
• Adept at understanding complex business issues and specifying effective IT solutions.
• A self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment and can work with limited guidance.

What You’ll Do:

As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of technology solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

• Requirements Gathering: Elicit, validate, and document business requirements while defining acceptance criteria.
• Collaboration: Work closely with traders, operators, risk, and technology staff across our London and Houston offices.
• Agile Project Management: Manage ongoing projects using agile methodologies, including daily scrums and progress updates.
• Endur Version Upgrade: Lead the project management for the Endur version upgrade from v14 to v2x.
• Stakeholder Management: Manage stakeholder expectations, broker decisions, and achieve consensus for successful project outcomes.
• UAT Support: Collaborate with development and testing teams to ensure seamless solution delivery and support User Acceptance Testing.
• Presentation Creation: Develop engaging presentations for senior management that capture project highlights and solutions.
