Oracle Payroll & HCM Senior Manager

A global professional services firm at the forefront of enterprise transformation is seeking an Oracle Payroll & HCM Senior Manager to join their Powered Apps team. As part of a collaborative, tech-focused environment, you’ll help drive high-impact HR and Payroll change programmes for some of the UK’s most recognised organisations, using Oracle Cloud technology and pre-configured transformation frameworks.
As Oracle Payroll & HCM Senior Manager, you will:
• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex Oracle HCM and Payroll implementations across a variety of industries.
• Guide clients through HR and Payroll transformation initiatives, improving service delivery and process performance.
• Advise on Oracle capabilities across HR operations including onboarding, absence management, self-service, payroll and offboarding.
• Provide strategic input during bids and proposals, playing an active role in contract and commercial discussions.
• Support the development of the practice by sharing knowledge, mentoring team members, and contributing to thought leadership.
• Manage system integrations and data migration activities, ensuring clean data, smooth transitions and long-term scalability.
• Work collaboratively across internal Powered HR teams to identify broader transformation opportunities.
• Champion the firm's values and lead by example, developing junior consultants through coaching and performance management.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Demonstrated success delivering Oracle Cloud Payroll and HCM projects.
• Deep understanding of Oracle HCM and Payroll functionality and its real-world application to business operations.
• Hands-on experience leading transformation workstreams and managing teams across the full project lifecycle.
• In-depth knowledge of core HR and Payroll processes and legislation.
• Strong documentation, reporting and presentation skills with an ability to simplify complex topics.
• Comfort working in both agile and traditional delivery frameworks.
• Prior experience in both functional and technical roles within HR technology projects.
• Familiarity with system design documents, configuration specs, use cases, and process flows.
• Collaborative working style and the ability to develop strong internal and client relationships.
• Commercially aware and driven to learn and thrive in fast-paced environments.
• Exposure to other HCM systems such as Workday, ServiceNow or SuccessFactors (desirable).
• Eligibility to obtain UK Security Check (SC) clearance is essential.

• Educated to degree level
• Workday / ServiceNow Certifications (desirable)
