Role Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Development Lead. The candidate will have considerable experience in leading the design, build, test, and deployment of Oracle HCM Cloud integrations across various modules. The role involves providing technical guidance to junior team members along with direct development tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integration Development Lead: Oversee the end-to-end process for Oracle HCM Cloud integrations, including design, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Canonical Data Model and architecture: Build and iterate the HCM Canonical Data Model within a Shared Service compartment for use by child integrations.
- Connectors & Adapters: Configure and customize OIC adapters (e.g., Oracle HCM, Oracle EBS, third-party) for integrating cloud and on-premises applications.
- Business Logic Implementation: Implement complex business logic, data transformations, and mappings using OIC's tools.
- API Management: Develop and manage APIs for integration, ensuring security and scalability.
- Error Handling & Monitoring: Create a parent error-handling integration to process errors from child integrations, enabling uniform error management.
- CI/CD: Implement pipelines for OIC components using Azure DevOps, facilitating deployment across environments.
- SCRUM: Lead the development team in planning sprints, managing velocity, and tracking defects.
- Collaboration: Work with functional teams, architects, and project managers to align solutions with business needs.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed technical specifications, testing procedures, and deployment guides.
- Testing & Debugging: Conduct thorough testing to ensure high-quality solutions.
- Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, including performance and data errors.
Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
- Experience defining and implementing canonical data models for multiple integrations.
- Knowledge of OCI compartment architecture for security and workload segregation.
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and sprint management tools.
- Experience integrating Oracle HCM Payroll with third-party applications like HMRC.
- Proficient with Oracle Adapters (EBS, HCM Cloud) and web services (SOAP, REST).
- Strong skills in data transformations and mappings.
- Understanding of Oracle SOA Suite, OSB, or similar tools.
- Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and relational databases.
- Knowledge of Oracle Autonomous Integration Cloud or similar platforms is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple tasks independently.
- Ability to translate complex requirements into effective solutions.
- Experience mentoring junior team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in Oracle Integration Cloud, SOA Suite, or OCI.
- Experience integrating third-party applications with Oracle Cloud.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD automation for OIC.
- Knowledge of security protocols like OAuth 2.0, SSL, and API management best practices.
