Job summary

Vodafone VOIS in Newbury seeks an experienced Oracle OSS Lead to own Vodafone’s OSS landscape end-to-end, ensuring stability, release governance and service improvement. You’ll lead technical teams across Siebel CRM, OSM, BRM and Oracle technologies, driving DevOps and SRE transformation while engaging stakeholders.

The role focuses on production readiness, incident response, monitoring and automation, with strong leadership and vendor management responsibilities in a large telecom environment.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Telecom IT and Oracle OSS environments.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle OSS solutions (OSM, Siebel CRM, BRM).
• Unix/Linux administration and SQL performance troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with cloud, containerisation and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end accountability for Oracle OSS platforms and release governance.
• Drive automation, DevOps and SRE initiatives across teams.
• Define technical roadmaps and ensure production readiness and incident response.
• Engage stakeholders, manage vendors and mentor support engineers.
