Job Description:

A global energy business is looking to recruit an Oracle EPM Functional Consultant to assist with the latter stages of Oracle EPM implementation, ongoing support, and development, working closely with finance and IT.

Key responsibilities include:

• Own and manage Oracle FCCS/PBCS (and future applications) aligned with company financial, structural, and operational needs.
• Support the Finance team in month-end close reporting (FCCS) and budgeting/forecasting (PBCS).
• Provide technical expertise to support accounting and finance requirements.
• Assist in developing and designing future enhancements and the Oracle EPM roadmap.

Key accountabilities include:

• Set up, maintain, and support Oracle FCCS/PBCS and future applications in line with financial structures and requirements.
• Manage user roles, access, and security within Oracle EPM.
• Maintain source-to-EPM mappings and automate data loads with PowerShell scripts; troubleshoot issues.
• Implement and monitor new source system integrations, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee manual data loads and actual/budget data transfer from SUN/PRONTO into FCCS/PBCS.
• Assist in automating CFS systems, including script writing and validation.
• Enhance FCCS/PBCS validation rules and support process improvements with Finance.
• Monitor system performance, support end-users, and resolve anomalies.
• Manage topside journal entries, templates, data forms, and rules/scripts.
• Handle task lists, user menus, substitution variables, reports, and dashboards.
• Assess Oracle EPM patches, communicate updates, and lead rollout planning.
• Manage change control, deployment configurations, and assess impacts.
• Own incident and service request lifecycle, providing full documentation and user support.
• Coordinate with third parties for issues and provide technical/functional insights.
• Maintain documentation and drive reporting improvements and system enhancements.
• Train users on Oracle EPM, supporting accounting policies and Workiva Wdesk interactions.

Candidate requirements:

Significant experience with Oracle systems, preferably Oracle EPM. Prior close work with finance or a finance background is highly desirable to understand client needs and provide guidance. Experience with Hyperion, OneStream, or other Oracle EPM solutions is also considered.
