Job description

Oracle DBA - 3 Months Contract – Hybrid working - Havant/Reading - Inside IR35

My large UK-based client is seeking an Oracle eBS DBA for a contract role to support and maintain their Oracle databases and technical stack underpinning Oracle E-Business Suite applications.

The ideal candidate will possess:

1. Expertise in Oracle EBS R12.2 application administration, including installation, configuration, cloning, upgrades, and patching using Oracle EBS Applications DBA utilities.
2. Knowledge of multi-node EBS environments, administering Concurrent Managers, Parallel Processing, and troubleshooting Workflow Mailer/Notification issues.
3. Expertise in Oracle 19c database administration, including maintenance, security, upgrades, performance tuning, capacity planning, backup, and recovery using RMAN and export/import utilities on Unix.
4. Experience with multi-node Oracle RAC databases, Oracle ASM, CRS management, and scripting with PL/SQL, shell, and Perl for automation and monitoring.
5. Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Command Center (ECC), OBIEE, Oracle SOA Suite, and WebLogic Server administration to support ERP system integrations.
6. Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, OIC, and Autonomous Database management is advantageous.
