Are you an Junior / Mid-level Oracle DBA looking to expand your expertise into Cloud, Automation, and DevOps? This full remote role offers the perfect opportunity to deepen your DBA skills while gaining hands-on experience with Oracle Autonomous Database on OCI and cloud-native technologies like Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and optimize Oracle Autonomous Database on OCI.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and improve highly available Oracle DB environments.
• Automate database maintenance and operations using Terraform, Python, and shell scripting.
• Respond to incidents using monitoring and self-healing automation.
• Collaborate with cloud infrastructure, security, and software engineering teams.
• Stay up to date on cloud database trends and best practices.

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have:

• 2+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA with a strong understanding of RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, ASM, or Exadata (not all are required, but willingness to learn is key!).
• Linux expertise and experience troubleshooting database & infrastructure issues.
• Interest in learning cloud technologies, automation, and DevOps.
• Eligible for GovUK Security Clearance.

Nice to Have (or Willingness to Learn):

• Exposure to Cloud (OCI, AWS, Azure), Terraform, Docker/Kubernetes.
• Basic Python/Shell scripting for automation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
