An innovative firm is seeking an Oracle DBA to support a crucial migration project to AWS. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Oracle databases to facilitate the transition from AWS VMware to Oracle DB on EC2, as well as potentially upgrade the database from version 19 to a newer version. This position offers the opportunity to work fully remotely, allowing you to contribute to a significant cloud transformation while ensuring database performance, security, and reliability. Extensive experience with Oracle DB and AWS RDS is essential.
Strong understanding of cloud setups and database performance tuning.

Support migration of Oracle Database to AWS EC2 and RDS.
Maintain and configure databases while ensuring security and disaster recovery.

Supporting a migration to AWS, you will help lift and shift an Oracle Database running on AWS VMware to an Oracle DB on EC2. There will also be a potential DB upgrade from v19 to a newer version and shifting to AWS RDS.
