Job summary

Version 1 invites an experienced Oracle Cloud Payroll Functional Support Consultant to join our Managed Services team in the UK. You will own, optimise and support live Cloud Payroll environments while guiding clients on best practices and compliance.

We seek a proactive consultant with UK payroll expertise, Oracle HCM Cloud experience, and a track record of delivering value across Absence and Time & Labour modules. Hybrid working and global delivery are supported.

Qualifications

• Oracle HCM Cloud expertise with strong Payroll focus.
• Solid understanding of UK payroll and absence legislation.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional design solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day functional and application support for multiple clients.
• Troubleshoot, configure, and optimise Oracle Cloud Payroll solutions.
• Deliver clear documentation and share knowledge across the team.
• Provide training, mentoring, and coaching to colleagues.

Oracle Cloud Payroll Functional Support Consultant

What You’ll Do

• Provide day-to-day functional and application support for multiple clients.
• Troubleshoot, configure, and optimise Oracle Cloud Payroll solutions.
• Deliver clear documentation and share knowledge across the team.
• Provide training, mentoring, and coaching to colleagues.
• Assist with pre-sales activities including product demos.
• Advise clients on best practice Cloud processes, configuration options, and roadmaps.
• Work effectively with end-users remotely, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For

• Oracle HCM Cloud expertise, with a strong focus on Payroll.
• Solid understanding of UK payroll and absence legislation.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into functional design solutions.
• Strong communication skills – written and verbal – with the ability to document solutions clearly.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.
• SC clearance eligibility – minimum 3 years’ UK residency required.
• Knowledge of Absence, Time & Labour, or Compensation modules.
• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS/Payroll.
• ITIL process knowledge.
• Oracle HCM Cloud certifications, especially in Payroll.
