Job summary

Version 1 is seeking an Oracle Cloud Payroll Functional Support Consultant to join our UK Oracle Practice. You will provide day-to-day functional and application support for multiple clients, optimise Oracle Cloud Payroll, and document solutions while guiding customers on best practices.

You will have Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll experience, strong UK payroll knowledge, and SC clearance eligibility with UK residency of at least 3 years.

Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud focusing on Payroll.
• Strong knowledge of UK payroll and absence legislation.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional designs.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day functional and application support for multiple clients.
• Troubleshoot, configure, and optimise Oracle Cloud Payroll solutions.
• Deliver clear documentation and share knowledge across the team.
• Provide training and mentoring to colleagues.
• Assist with pre-sales activities including product demos.
• Advise on best-practice Cloud processes, configurations and roadmaps.
• Collaborate with end-users remotely to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

Essential Experience:

• Oracle HCM Cloud expertise, with a strong focus on Payroll.
• Solid understanding of UK payroll and absence legislation.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into functional design solutions.
• Strong communication skills – written and verbal – with the ability to document solutions clearly.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.
• SC clearance eligibility – minimum 3 years’ UK residency required.

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge of Absence, Time & Labour, or Compensation modules.
• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS/Payroll.
• ITIL process knowledge.
• Broader HR process understanding.
• Oracle HCM Cloud certifications, especially in Payroll.
