Job summary

Consult seeks an experienced Oracle Cloud ERP Finance Lead to drive the design, solutioning and delivery of Oracle Fusion Financials for a major property and real estate transformation programme. The role requires deep finance expertise across AR, billing, collections and OTC.

You will lead the finance workstream, mentor the Delivery team, and manage stakeholder relationships with Finance Directors and business leaders. Fully remote UK-based contract for 3 months, outside IR35.

Qualifications

• Extensive Oracle ERP implementation experience, ideally Fusion Cloud Financials.
• Strong knowledge of AR, billing, collections, cash application and OTC.
• Experience in property/real estate desirable (tenant billing, lease accounting, IFRS 16).
• Excellent stakeholder management and workshops facilitation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Oracle Fusion Financials workstream across the implementation lifecycle.
• Provide functional leadership across AR, GL, Cash Management, AP and Intercompany.
• Design end-to-end Order to Cash processes with focus on billing and collections.
• Lead discovery sessions and translate business requirements into Oracle solutions.
• Challenge processes and recommend improvements with strong controls.
• Oversee configuration and functional design ensuring integration with related systems.
• Manage SIT, UAT, cutover and hypercare testing activities.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and quality assurance to the Finance team.
• Manage relationships with Finance Directors and senior stakeholders.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud ERP Finance Lead to lead the functional design, solutioning and delivery of Oracle Fusion Financials for a major property and real estate transformation programme.

The role requires deep Finance expertise, particularly across Accounts Receivable, customer billing, collections, cash application and end-to-end Order to Cash processes. Experience in property, construction or real estate is highly desirable, including tenant billing, lease accounting and IFRS 16.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Oracle Fusion Financials workstream, owning functional design, solutioning and delivery across the implementation lifecycle.
• Provide functional leadership across Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Cash Management, Accounts Payable and Intercompany.
• Drive the design of end-to-end Order to Cash processes, with particular focus on customer billing, credit management, collections, cash application and receipt processing.
• Lead discovery sessions and design workshops, translating complex business requirements into scalable Oracle solutions.
• Challenge existing processes and recommend improvements aligned with business objectives, financial controls and accounting principles.
• Oversee configuration and functional design, ensuring solutions meet business requirements and integrate effectively with related systems.
• Manage testing activities, including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover and hypercare.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and quality assurance across the Finance delivery team.
• Manage relationships with senior stakeholders, including Finance Directors, Financial Controllers and business leadership.
• Support integration design between Oracle Receivables and related Lease Accounting, Projects or Property Management solutions where applicable.

Requirements

• Extensive Oracle ERP implementation experience, ideally with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
• Strong functional expertise across Oracle Receivables, with particular strength in billing, collections, cash application and Order to Cash.
• Broad Finance knowledge across General Ledger, Cash Management, Accounts Payable and Intercompany.
• Proven experience leading Finance workstreams and owning functional design through to deployment.
• Strong experience facilitating business workshops, producing functional designs and resolving complex solution requirements.
• Sound understanding of finance processes, accounting principles, financial controls and system integrations.
• Experience supporting the full implementation lifecycle, including design, configuration oversight, testing, cutover and hypercare.
• Confident stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage senior Finance and business leaders.

Desirable Experience

• Experience in property, real estate, construction, development or asset management.
• Oracle Lease Accounting and knowledge of IFRS 16.
• Experience with tenant billing, rental income, service charge recovery and property management processes.
• Understanding of revenue and lease accounting requirements.
• Experience integrating Oracle Receivables with Lease Accounting, Projects or Property Management systems.
