Job summary
CooperVision Limited seeks a Senior Manager, Medical Affairs (Optometrist) to lead scientific communication and evidence support for Commercial needs. You will develop publications, abstracts and presentations, review medical claims, and prepare technical documents to back commercial strategies while ensuring regulatory compliance.
The role oversees the IIS program, serves as SME for IMAs, and collaborates with global brand, regional marketing and Commercial teams to translate scientific data
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in Medical Affairs or related clinical/scientific industry experience.
- Experience as an optometrist and with practice management is a plus.
- Bachelor, Master or Doctor of Optometry (BOptom, MOptom, OD) degree or equivalent.
- Knowledge of US/EU promotional regulations (MLR/AdPromo) is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Execute scientific communication and evidence‑support activities for Commercial needs.
- Develop publications, abstracts and presentations.
- Conduct medical reviews of claims and prepare technical documents.
- Oversee IIS program and serve as SME for IMAs.
- Support cross‑functional responses to competitor challenges and off‑label inquiries.
- Provide scientific guidance for internal and external data and for regulatory/commercial requirements.
